Hey there! I'm Kyle. I've had two passions in life - playing volleyball and building software. In 2019 I decided it was time to combine them and build the volleyball app I always wanted as a player.

I started by running leagues the hard way with spreadsheets and group messages. I learned firsthand what league managers deal with and what keeps players happy. And I started building volley.love.

I've been building software professionally for 15+ years at places like Microsoft, SAP, and a few smaller startups. But I never stopped playing volleyball. I grew up in the Milwaukee area, started on my first organized team at ten, played at Muskego High School, then the men's club team at UW-La Crosse while getting my masters in Software Engineering.

Over the years, I've refined volley.love into simple, reliable sports league management software. It's expanded beyond volleyball too, now powering basketball leagues on hoops.love.
